Worthwhile film about the plight of the Aborigines to defy the Australian government, more memorable due to its subject matter than any cinematic artistry. DVD includes a documentary, Following the Rabbit-Proof Fence. It also features commentary with director Phillip Noyce, musician Peter Gabriel, actor Kenneth Branagh, screenwriter Christine Olsen and author Doris Pilkington Garimara.
